Question about 1999 Buick Century
Under the dash on the passenger side you will find the "resistor pack." This can be tricky to get to but sits up behind the fan so you have to take that out first. The resistor pack, if it becomes hot will short out and will not allow all fan speeds to work since this is what controls the different speeds. This needs replacing. Also, my recomendation is to alos replace the in cabin air filter as this may be the cause of the resistor pack overheating.
