How to change a 2010 Subaru Legacy battery, do I need to hook up with another battery first before I disconnect with the old one.

Its possible, sometimes the new vehicles work with anti-theft systems; confirm with your owners manual battery procedure or ask your dealer.

95 subaru legacy odometer and speedometer do not work

Check your fuse under dash. Then if that is not it, there is a speed sensor on transmission that may be your problem. If it is bad or disconnected it will cause a variety of problems. Good luck and have a great day.

I just changed the starter, disconnected battery

Under dash by your left knee is a 4"x4" box. It has a small wire lead with a button on the end. Turn ignition on and push button. Resets the alarm. THis will stop your lights from flashing. Have a great day.

95 Subaru Legacy won't start/radiator fan stays on

It's one of three things:  air, spark, or fuel.

It's most likely not air.  So I'll rule that one out.

That leaves fuel or spark.  I'd remove a spark plug wire from the coil and set a screwdriver nearby.  It it arcs, then you know you have spark.  There's a good chance you may need to replace something in your ignition system.

However, seeing as how quickly it just "died," I might also suggest the fuel pump.
