I would first check for leaks, and if no leaks i would check your master and slave cylinders if they are working properly

I have a 1993 Manuel ford ranger xlt and my truck always is running out of clutch fluid and my truck has trouble shifting gears an I can't tell what it is

I would have to say that your slave cylinder which is locatet inside the bell housing has gone bad on you and leaking fluid. if this is the case i would also replace the whole clutch assembly due to the fact that you have to take the transmission out anyways

2001 ford ranger edge v6 goes into gear off won't when started

the hydrolic cylender might be out of brake fluid. by the master cylender you should have a small jug that should have brake fluid. if empty you got a leak. if full you will need a new clutch.

Transmission fluid stick

No the manual transmisson does not have a stick. on the transmisson their are two plugs. One for draining and one for filling. In order to check the fluid, pull the higher plug out and feel with a finger in that hole for fluid. To set the level to the correct level you would need to drain and refill the trans. If no leaks are present you should be OK
