Try changing the air filter ,i had a problem ,at ilde in drive my trailblazer would stall, changed the air filter now it's not stalling and got my power back ,there is a secondary air pump that i have to change ,
not sure were it is ? still not running perfect but it's running better .and my service light is on too.
i got it put on scope ,it's the pump .
not sure if this helps ,but i'm start to run in to problems too,i have a 2004 trailblazer.
i like to do fix things myself ,i hope i's the cost if you know what i mean.

I would say that the someone was not familiar with your car and has tapped into the wrong power circuit. Take it to a audio shop that fits systems and have it fixed properly.

I have a 2002 chevy blazer 4x4 4.3 ... had to get a jump to get it started ran just fine drove it home shut it off and tried to start it and it just clicks..battery cables are tight and not corroded

is the alternator charging! if it is you have a bad battery. charging voltage with engine on should be at least 13-6 to 14-2 volts at battery if alternator is charging.

Chevy trail blaze 2002, speedometer stays at zero miles or goes up and down

The new Gm line From 1998 till present are known for instrument cluster problems. Make sure that there isnt a new calibration to correct this problem ( at the dealer ) and if not you will need a new instrument cluster. Hope this helps.

My 2002 trailblazer shut down, and would not start back up. I thought it may be the battery, so I jump started it. It started, I drove up the road, and all the gauges stopped working, again the truck...

The alternator needs to be tested under load. I believe though that the problem is with a bad electrical connection. Remove the electrical connections at the battery, alternator, and starter and clean them thoroughly. Re-connect the connections. Also check the grounding strap from the engine to the frame. Check the strap itself to make sure it is intact and check the connections for bolt tightness.

poor oil circulation may need either more oil or a new oil pump, any other symptoms?

It could just be the pressure sensor, as this is cheaper get it looked at first.

Hope this helps

I have 2 batteries in my 2002 chevy trailblazer, 6 cylinder and no indication that either are bad from the indicator in the truck and my truck was as dead as a door nail. It is not holding a charge either....

Remove both batteries and have them charged and load tested. You need to know for sure that they are both good before doing any further system tests.
