How do you replace headlight bulb for a 2004 landrover discovey

How do you replace the headlight bulb for a 2004 landrover discovery. I'm being told that the grill needs to be removed to access the bulbs?

Yes that is right the grill needs to come off. three plastic clips top front of grill
you can take the headlight out one star screw on the top and a pozzy screw to the side behind the grill it has to be poped out of the bottom of the headlight
then you can get to the back of your head lamp ok

1. Pull out side facing seat or pocket cover.
2. Unscrew fastener and remove access panel.
3. Turn bulb holder anti-clockwise to release.
4. Remove bulb.
Refitting is reverse of the above procedure

It seems to me that you either have a dirty injector. Maybe you should try using those cleaning additives to the fuel. Tank it up full.

2001 landrover dis II headlights are very dim


bulbs wattage may be to high, heat genarated
by them may be to much for plugs try investing in a HID light svstem it uses higher wattage bulbs with out the exsesive heat

I connect a 1997 landrover discovery computer to the 1994 landrover discovery and it won't start.


if it is a mems unit , it will need to be programed to the key fob and alarm . (there is no way round it).

Indicator too fast and noisy


this is usually caused by rthe relay either being faulty or the wrong one? i have seen this before when one of your bulbs is out but only on quite old cars with basic wiring looms. i would replace relay under the bonnet/ in the cockpit (refer to owners manual for location)

Headlight out....


open the hood, look down at the back of the light and there should be screws to remove. do so. take the light housing out and remove the bulbs, take them to a part store and have them match em up and replace

The auxilary gear is locked in high position.


Make sure you are on level ground. All 4 wheels must be =. Play around with the diff-lock switch.
