Yes. I would seriously consider replacement of the air flow meter. But, they are expensive. Before I replaced it, though, I would def check the wiring connections. For both of those failures, it could very well be a wiring/connector issue; not sufficient voltage being returned to the ECU. Unplug and plug it in & out several times. The contacts may be a little weak. Let me know if that helps.

What happens here is this: The computer sends 5 volts DC to the air flow meter, and its internal devices. Depending on temperature, or the position of the "door" on the air flow meter, a portion of those 5 volts is sent back to the computer. This is how the computer understands the actions of the various devices, thru voltage and the portion returned. If the contacts are corroded, or not making good contact, the voltage sent back is incorrect, and the computer makes the wrong calculations. I hope that my info has helped you, the graciousness of a FIxYa rating from you regarding my assistance would be much appreciated.

What is year--make--model?
How long since a tune-up?
If you think it is fuel issue, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. There are some other tests you could try, but, too much liability, I can't be responsible for your safety.

Hi, I have a 2003 Toyota Camry LE V6 which I have bought recently at 76K mileage. From almost a month after driving for 10-20 (sometimes after 30 min on a sunny day) my car would shake /**** when I stop at...

you may have a fuel filter/pump problem which can cause this type of problem if it can supply enough fuel to run the motor, and can cause stalling problems and popping noise out the exhaust.you may have to have it put on a scan tool to check for a code that may not set the check engine light, and the car driven with the tool on it so they can take a snap shot of the problem when it happens so they can study the information to see if something is showing up.

Sonata Jerks while driving, feel like the engine stalls & starts

I recommend that you find a good reliable shop and have the computer codes checked. Each time the check engine light comes on it also stores a code in the computer that shows which system is not properly operating. While this info is not specific, it is far better than guessing. The de-carbon service is likely not to help. I'm guessing that your problem is in your fuel management system, perhaps a fuel filter, and service to any decel/idle components. But not being there, it's only an educated guess!
good luck
