2002 Aztek Service engine light on & high beam indicator flashes
My 2002 Pontiac Aztek service engine light comes on and the high beam light indicator flashes, but only when car is in gear, . Because it doesn't do this when the car is in park and it doesn't happen all the time. There is no obvious reason for this. Anyone have this problem??

Your blinker arm control unit is bad have it replaced it will cure your problem. What it is doing when you turn on your blinker the unit has a short in it and causing the high beams to come on. As they all work of off the same controler.
Does the battery light come on before the engine dies, or after ? After is normal because the engine is not turning the alternator. Is the check engine light on when the engine is running ? Common causes for stalling are a dirty throttle body or faulty idle air control valve.
When you see the high beam light flashing, it means you have a high beam burnt out. It
flashes when you put it in gear because your high beams actually double
as your daytime running lights, only on a lower power. They're fairly easy to change.
take out the bulb and there u filments one for high beam light witch is the biggest one and the low beam is the one whit the smallest filment and if it dont go on when ur turn ur head lightsits blown and ull need to replace it
