Question about 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD

2003 duramax 2500hd brake lights stay on when lights are on

When I turn on the lights the brake lights stay on and the left blinker does not blink. When the lights are off it all works fine but, Today I seen the front parking lights come on when I hit the brakes with the lights off. Help this is really making me mad

    the trailer wiring harness is wired in. It does not unplug

You may have faulty wiring for your trailer lights. Look under the back of the truck where the wiring harness leads to the trailer wiring harness. Usualy it is a 3 way plug in the harness. Try unpluging the harness from the trailer wiring and just plug the other 2 wires into eachother

When i turn the left blinker on both left and right blink on just the trailer plug. right blinker works fine.


you seem to have problem with the wiring of the trailer plug, you need to check that the correct color wire is in the right position in the plug, or the problem may be in the outlet plug of the vehicle, you will need to check both plugs & make sure that they are wired correctly......hope this helps......cheers.

How do fix turn signals on buic regal 1996?


It helps if you describe the problem. Does not blink? blinks fast? indicator stays on? right or left? both? do the emergency blinkers work ok? Parking lights work? brake lights?

Brake lights


If you have an aftermarket trailer towing plug on it, that's where i would look first. Something is shorting out in there, or you have a broken wire or ground somewhere. Proabably near the back where gravel stones can hit.

same bulb but 2 seperate elements. wiring diagram u should be able to obtain from your local auto parts store like autozone(preferred)
