I have a 1989 Dodge Daytona I got for my 17th birthday present, we've had it repaired since it's been sitting up for three years. I got it back 3 weeks ago from the mechanic, it worked fine up til now when while in motion my foot on the gas, the car engine cuts off and slowly comes to a stop.
I can't figure it out why considering I have a new alternator on it, I have half a tank, new battery, and many other new engine parts. I just don't know why it does it it's been doing this for the past 3 days, today(Tuesday) being it's worst.
If anyone has any suggestions please, give them to me I'm at my wits end here.

My 89 just recently died at a stop light, and it wont start again. I recently had the coil replaced, and it acted just like it did this time. Unfortunatly, a new coil, pick-up coil (in the distributor), and a new battery havent changed anything. The car is sitting at my work refuses to start. Timing belt maybe? I dont seem to be getting any spark at all when its trying to start. Distributor? Suggestions please, or a for sure fix. Until then, I'm without a vehicle.
