Battery light flashing jump it ,it will start but not run

It could be you have a fault in the Diode pack in the alternator you need to get this checked at an alternator repair center.

87 toyota camry new battery wont keep charge, alternator checks okay, in dash bulb for charge and brake and lights stays illuminated?

Generally if charge light is on, alternator has a bad diode in it. This lets the charged battery lose its power by flowing in the reverse direction. It sounds as the alt., is either not connected right or is swtill bad

The fan in the engine is not running, is that how that model runs?

The fan should come on as the engine warms up about 10 minutes after starting if it does not come on there is a problem. There are two possibilities the fan relay is bad (locate and replace) or the fan temp.sensor on the top of the engine is bad, do a continuity test on the fan temp.sensor after the car warms up it should read zero if not repalce the switch. It is doubtful the electric fan itself is bad but it maybe just introduce 12 volts to the fan grounding it with a jumper wire to check.

Car will not start i can remove battery cable for

It sounds like you have something on all the time, that is draining the battery. Check for things like trunk light, etc.
You can tell if there is something on, because with the engine and everything off, there should be no current flow between the batter post and the cable you took off. So you can put a volt meter between them, and get 0. If you instead get 12 volts, then something is on. You can pull fuses one at a time to try to narrow it down. But it could also be the alternator, if a diode goes bad, and that has no fuse. You can just unplug the alternator and see if the drain goes away. While diodes are only a buck, rebuilding the alternator will run more like $50.

2002 monte carlo will not charge has a new battery and a new alternator has 12 volts going to the big post and 12 volt going to 1 of the 2 small wires

You need more than 12 volts to charge the battery. How many amps does the alternator put out? This is what charges the battery.

Electrical/Battery Light

Hi,I am Ron,Look at the alternator out put voltage, and have the battery load tested. Also check bad connection from battery to alternator(this is the large wire/cable).alternator turns the battery light on,why? You need to figure out witch one.A diode could be going out in the alternator, diodes change ac voltage to dc voltage ,that`s why the call it a alternator(alternating current)AC voltage means alternating current. If it goes unrepaired it can ruin battery, changing battery voltage from 12 volts dc to 12 volts ac.Also there is a built in voltage regulator that holds voltage down to about 14 volts charging while car is running.Voltage regulators can cut off charging completley or open wide allowing alternator to charge as much as 18 volts dc,ruining battery(boiling battery acid out of battery)and ruining alternator by burning fields and rectifiers out.So have it checked or do it your self.Auto parts stores can check alternator and battery. If I can be of more help, please

1966 chevelle with 283 cu. in.

the r terminal only has 12 volts on it when you are cranking the starter over. so the wire that goes to the r terminal goes to the plus side of the coil then the wire that come from the switch also goes to the coil this wire should have only about 8.5 volts on it when switch is in run position the r terminal puts 12 volt on the coil while cranking the motor over the when the switch is in the run position there is 8.5volt on the points so you don't burn the points out the diode kit i don't no why you need it unless the don't what any back feed volt to the r terminal in the run position so i would put it in line(series) with the r terminal wire the flow on the diode is from the -<- this side of the diode goes to the coil
