Question about 2004 Jeep Wrangler
My jeep was running in cold weather 19f. and at 35mph and it died out just like someone turning it off(no noises or smells) and then its oil gauge reads L and it wont start again, There are no leaks under the car of any sort. It has a half tank of gas but its like there is no gas. I was fishtailing on an icy road when it happened, when i came out of the fishtail, i slowed down to 35 and the fishtailing stopped, then my motor just shut off. Can it be a sensor of some sort, plus I dont change my oil as often as i should, my mileage is 181k and im at 5200 on my oil change mileage. Any ideas? Thanx Tim
IF ITS A 4.0 L THE THROTTLE BODY MAY JUST NEED TO BE CLEANED, AS FOR A SENSOR ITS POSSIBLE BOTH THE CAM AND CRANK SENSORS ARE GARBAGE ON THAT VEHICLE I CHANGE THEM ALL THE TIME
