Blower not working

    2001 Buick Century
One hot summer bight I went to leave in my car to find the battery was
mysteriously dead. Next morning when it was jumped I realized that the
A/C / heater fan was running and continued running when I shut the car
off. At next stop I pulled fuse when I stopped the car. Then that
problem stopped but very soon was followed by another problem--only the
high blower would work. This continued for awhile until one day all
    blowers stopped. All fuses checked.

I also saw an answer for another model car that said something about a
leak on the passenger side floor. This has happened and we have been
unable to figure out where it is coming from.

I am living in ice covered NH and really need the defroster! Hope you can help me!

I believe it will be your motor is pulling to many amps because of age and it has burned up the electronic blower speed module located in the duct near the blower, you can follow the wires, to it from the blower. I actually have had this exact problem myself on the same car..
Merry Christmas!

2001 Grand Prix: can't find the blower motor resistor on 2001 Grand...

Under the passenger side of the dashboard is a carpeted cover you'll need to remove. Once that's out of the way you'll see the blower motor on the RH side and just to the left of it right next to the frontwall is the blower motor resistor held in by two screws.
Here's a picture of the old design (right) versus the new design (left).

The front heater/air conditioner blower stopped

First check the voltage at the front blower moter. If it has voltage then it may just need a new motor.

2001 Grand Cherokee heat/cool blower rotary switch works on low, position 2,3 & Hi. Does not work in position #1. Could it be the switch or the blower that is bad?

Hello there, It is the blower motor in most cases that has gone bad. I have an explorer right now that I am repairing and has the same issue , in the rear and the front ac. Check out , they are most likley to have the best price. Thank you , Quinn Texada.

Check on Ebay for Jeep Grand Cherokee Harness Kit. The plug on your harness may be melted like mine was. I bought this kit, followed the instructions in his ad and it worked great. All I had to do was cut off my old plug and solder this one on. Even the wire colors matched so there was no guessing.
