I am having the same problem with the fog lights. Replaced relay under the hood, pulled all fuses in passenger side floor panel and checked all good. But, the light on the switch still doesnt come on. There is either another fuse somewhere or the switch is bad. In looking in the repair manual taking off the dash to get to the switch is going to be a day job. Anyone got suggestions of what else to check?

I had the same problem. The dashboard switch for the fog lights gets hot over time and the plastic housing melts enough to cause the contacts to stick. You can buy a replacement switch for about $35. I took mine apart and filed the housing enough to relieve the contacts. Seems to work fine now.

...Face it..the switch is bad..even if you have other functions working, the part of the switch that controls the fogs is bad...have you checked the actual bulbs?

The reverse lights on my 2000 dodge intrepid do not go on, but the bulbs are good and no juice to the bulb socket. I heard that it may be switch but I cannot locate it. Any help?

Check the fuse first. Fuse box should be located underneath or on the side of the dash (accessible with the drivers door open).

Brake lights not being activated when applying brake pedal. Fues is ok. Light in rear windshield does activate.

if the bulbs are both good then it sounds like you have a loose ground wire in the rear of the car by the brake light assembly ... check the brown wires of both brake lights and check to make sure there is no melting in the plastic housing of the light assembly...

Where is the fuse for the air conditioner in a 1994 jeep cherokee

THERE ARE more than one.
you can check them all, or lean how the system works.

there A/c has many.
the blower fuse must be good, or A./C shuts down
the AC amp logic box (brain) needs 12v and a good fues.
the relays both have fuses. for clutch and fan. up front.
must I post photos of them all.
or why not read the operators guide, it cover this.?
as does the FSM book ( sorry, i know books are taboo here)
or alldata.com
and the free book, posted over 1000 times.

XJ jeep , we have the 1993 free book only, my guess same.
my guess, the clutch dead? that it, just a clue helps
we can find true cause (elect) for no clutch in 5 min work and any $10 volt meter....
read the HVAC chapter yet, and the Diagnosis there>?
is the hi/low switch 12vdc on both sides? i do that first.
or do fuses. sure.
is the blower blowing in dash?

see hvac here.
then see wiring and go to A/c pages.
see all there is.
wiring
cavite 9 and 12 in fuse box. must be good, blower and a/c labeled.
on page 10 xj

pdf wiring page 198 cover the a/c wiring, xj
and shows, F12 fuse runs the first relay./
on this car the PCM controls the relays,
do you have the climate control option, this needs to be known first.
if the hi/low freon switch opens
the thermostat goes dead.
if it goes, dead the PCM sees, no damand for a/c and drops the clutch off line, and for other reasons too.
fuse 5 kills the blower, it gets power from ignition feed.
page 199 in the pdf.
the book mixe XJ and YJ and 2.5L and 4.0L engines,
so look carefully
but F12 is a/c clutch power.
there in the PDC<
and the relays for clutch and cond. fan.

why not post symptoms;??????????
is the clutch dead.> is that it?

dah book.

The bright head light on the right side of my crystler 300 2001 will not come on even after putting in a new bulb

You should get a medal for changing a head light bulb in a Chrysler.
Anyway, if you have it apart and haven't junked it yet, first check all the fuses related to lights. If I had my book here, that would help, but NOT! Check the socket to see it if is getting juice. If you've gotten this far you can use a coupla piece of wire to stick into the socket receivers and touch them to the points on another good 12Volt bulb. OR use a multimeter set on 12V.Don't worry, it's 12 v DC and cannot hurt you unless you're standing in a puddle of water and you're soaking wet- just be cautious. If the bulb lights or the meter twitches with some twisting and tweaking, replace the socket. (no worse that re-wiring a lamp at home... If that is NOT the issue, it is in the harness further back toward the firewall, but that;'s not really likely unless you have a hurd of mice living back there. Wrap it up and GO!

Hi,if you know where the fues box is your half way there.
just buy a electricle screwdriver that has a light inside it with a wire that has got a crockerdile clip on the end,
put the cockerdile clip on a earth the body of the car,
then look at the fues on the top of the fues there is two little bits of metal these are where you will put the screwdriver blade to,
if yoy put the ignition on then go back to the fuesestuch one side of the fues on the little bit of metal the screwdriver should light,This is the power side, now if you tuch the screwdriver on the other bit of metal the light should come on again,if it dose the fues is ok,
if not the fues is falty(replace fues)do this to all the fueses and you will find the fues that is falty.
all the best.
