May be the drivers side temp acuator has gone bad . ================== also It's behind the glove box. You unsrew the glove box, slide it out, unplug the lights from it. There is a black cover at the bottom you unscrew as well. You will see a black box with the fan adjustor on it. It has a little arm connected to a small motor. The arm shouldnt be loose. Turn your key on, change your temperature from hot to cold, you should see the arm move. If no, make sure its not stuck, check your fuses. If it does move.. continue readin. lol Under that there is a box, make of peices. I think its only like 4 screws and it's open. Right front side of the engine where the maxifuse centre on the left veiwing from the front you'll see two coolant lines. They are tricky to get out. Pop the rubber tubes off. Go back inside and pull the heater core out. Switch it the opposite way for the new one.

This system allows the electrical heating of the front seats on passenger demand.
The components of the system are:

  • the heated seat control switch, located on the seat side trim panel.
  • temperature sensors located in the seat cushion heating elements.
  • heated seat relay.
Do both front seat heaters not work ? Do you know how to test electrical circuits with voltmeter ?

  • Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
INSTALL a new heated seat switch. TEST the system for normal operation.

No
REPAIR circuit 57 (BK). TEST the system for normal operation It's not that simple , being a fuse . It's probably the relay or the heating element .

Where is the fuse box located on a 2003 Cadillac Deville

Hi, there are two fuse box locations. There is one under the hood and there is also one under the back seat next to the battery on the driver side. To get at the one under the back seat, grab under the front of the seat bottom and give a tug upward. Be careful though, the plug for the rear seat heat is attached to the seat bottom on the passenger side and the wires aren't very long.

1999 Cadillac Deville Driver side power seat not working

No fuse. These seats are protected with relays and a seat module. The module is under the drivers seat. There are 3 connectors and it would be hard to check all these wires for power to the motors.First look under the seat and make sure none of the connectors came apart under the seat by something that might have been left or rolled under it.The 2 main ones you can check are the connector 2 terminal C and connector 3 terminal A.C is a black wire which is ground and A is a red wire which is the feed power wire.Connector 2 is green and 3 is black. If the ground and power wires are good then you could have a bad drivers seat module. What I would do is go to the salvage yard and find a used module to try.Good luck.

Battery removal 2000 cadillac deville

Its on passenger side under rear seat cushion. Get in back seat FACING rear seatback, grab under lip of bottom seat cushion, and pull straight up. Disconnect seat heater connector (if so equipped) on passenger side and remove seat bottom. Tada! There ya go! Oh... btw. Its a $150 battery due to the venting system designed into it to vent fumes through a tube to the outside world. Thanks Cadillac!!! :(
