It must be going out the exhaust!
Try a can of STP or 2.
Sounds like time to say goodby to the car !
Good Luck !

Hi everybody i have a Lexus Gs300 2006 after an oil change i an it for 5000mile and i found that engine oil is lost about 1.5liter what is the problem? thank

hi, do you see oil on ground when you park? - could be oil drain plug is not put on properly- also, do you see blue smoke coming from tail pipes?- could be bad piston rings---- look for ooil in engine bay -look down and see if leaking- that's a lot of oil to lose- keep an eye on oil level every time you start the car to avoid severe engine damage!!!- put oil as you need until fixed- happy trails!!

2008 Silverado 5.3 liter engine is consuming a lot of oil, why?

The short answer is, if there are no external leaks, the engine has to be burning it thru the rings, crankcase vent, or valves.
You could burn a quart a week and not see any evidence until it builds up on the spark plugs over time.

Have a 2000 carrera and when I frist start it when its cold it let's out a cloud of smoke and after a few min it clears up

the valve seals will leak over time ,,so as the car sits awhile some oil will seep done between the seals and get in the piston..so when uyou start the car the engine wil burn it out thruogh the exaust
you can live with it or if it get real bad replace the valve seals....which is a major job

Overfilled the engine with oil now car is smoking and engine is rattling and very noisey why?

If you think you put in too much oil, and you see a lot of foam on the dipstick after-wards and also if you notice lots of smoke coming out of the exhaust ,then you may have to drain some of the oil out. Also if you overfill your engine with oil then it blows the crank case oil seal and it builds up a lot of Odd Pressure and this is not good for the car engine. Due to too much oil:---- High pressure may develop in the crankcase from having too much oil in the engine and can lead to oil leakage, as well as premature engine wear and damages. Just get it drained ASAP. Thanks. you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

Trying to diagnose an internal engine smoke problem, 06 prius was working fine, all of a asudden i hear the gas engine come on and it sounds like valve or rocker noise, very lightly, i go to check the oil...

White smoke coming out of the oil fill cap is not good, it means there's water in there (white smoke = water, blue smoke = oil, black smoke = lots of junk in gas or ruined engine). I suspect bad head gasket or cracked block.

Smoke is coming out from under my hood...checked antifreeze and oil so it fine

white smoke usualy tells about a leakage in the cooling. check that. dont forgett to refill. get it repaired or DIY. attention: could be really hot.

if it smells like fuel, a fuel line is broken. then dont drive any more since it can catch fire.

if the smoke is not white, go to the repair shop instantly.

On start up I get lots of white smoke this lasts until car warms to normal operating temperature, car is using a little oil have noticed oil spitting from exhaust, no obvious sign that the head, head...

Stage one of a blown head gasket is a pin hole leak. As time goes by the hole(s) get bigger.
I will start traking the coolant lost and oil lose.
From the time you stop your engine to the next morning, there can be slow leakage between the coolant passage and the cyclinder end of the head gasket.
This is one possiblilty of lots of white smoke in AM.
Small amount is normal but large amount of smoke is a call for a professional check up.
To pin point a blowing headgasket you will need
1)coolant system compression tester
or
2)chemical reaction test for combustion test gas
If it's the org. engine from 1997,with over 110,000 then blowning headgasket is a good possiblity.
Drive it to the shop and let the pro to do the coolant pressure test and combustion gas test.
A full head gasket job with head re-surface (if it can be re-use) is worth it.
Shop around on well estiblished independent shops.
Fix the blown head gasket at the first stage of failure can safe you thousand on a head replacement.

Some body please help me i dont want a lemon!!

The more likely symptom for white smoke from exhaust is piston rings are worn out . Due to this there might be oil leakage and engine oil which is meant for engine lubrication might have entered the combustion chamber. Burning of engine oil produces white smoke. You should quickly change the piston rings as if you ignore this problem this can cause engine mal-functioning
