2006 Chevy Trailblazer heater/ac blower not working. If I run power from the battery to the blower, it works. Not the blower. I replaced the on/off switch, still nothing. What could it be?

We are giving the car back on a lease next month but over the warranty and its FREEZING here in NY. The heat works because when you drive fast enough you can feel it.. The Blower stopped working a long time ago on "5" but the other day all fan speeds stopped working completely including the defrost (making it really hard to see when the windshield is ICE) Fuzes dont seem to be the problem.. please tell me what we can do in the mean time to fix this problem.. only unitl Feb 09

I have the same problem. Heater blower works on 1,2,3,and 4 but not 5. I was told it is a $90 module that needs replacing. I was also told that the glove compartment has to be removed to get to it. Not being mechanically inclined, I was going to wait until it failed completely and then take it to the shop.

Ours went out twice and it was a resistor. Not sure where it's located but it was easily fixed by our mechanic.

The heater / ac control only works with one or two desired settings.defrost will not work at all (2006 chevy trailblazer)

The actuator motor that controls the defrost,to floor,to vent ,has gone out, this will be a job to take to the shop, the dash will have to be pulled out toward the seats to replace the actuator motor.

you have a short to power which will cause it to stay on constantly check your blower motor resistor pack to ensure that it is working and check the wires going to the blower to make sure you have a power and a ground

2006 chevy trailblazer heater blower motor not working

You might wanna check and make sure the heater switch didn't go bad. It could even be the blower motor itself.
