Buick Lesabre Humming noise that becomes louder as RPMs increase

I am driving a 2002 buick lesabre and when the car is moving there is a humming noise under the hood. The humming noise gets louder as the RPMs of the car increase. There is a "feel" to the noise in the steering wheel when I rotate the steering wheel to the right and it gets noticably quieter and there is less feel when I turn the wheel to the left.

A bearing in one of the pulleys is going bad. take the belts off and spin them 1 by 1 and listen for a noise or get a stethoscope and listen to each component that has a pulley

Sounds like you need a new batterie. When you jump it there will be enough voltage to the light but not enough to turn the starter.

There is a steady humming sound from the front end when the vehicle is moving

sounds like a wheel bearing assembly,if the noise changes when the wheel is turned a little bit while driving then it is a bearing, hope this sheds a little light on it for you
