Stick all the bolts in and run them down snug. Start at the center bolt and torque it half spec. Then do the same with the rest in a circle from center to the outside. Then torque them to full spec from center to outside in a circle. This is normal procedure if the sequence is not available. You could always google it if you don't trust this old timers suggestion.
I'm guessing your you are referring to the drive shaft center support bearing. Remove u-joint 4 bolts at rear diff., then 2 bolts for center support. Slide driveshaft assembly out of trans. and lay on ground. On either side of the center support, make alignment marks on front and rear half of drive shafts with a crayon or tape (very important for re-assembly). Slide rear half off. Press out center support. Clean sleeve with emery cloth or 400 grit sand paper. Press on new center support, lube splines and reconnect drive shaft halves making sure alignment marks meet. Install assembly and torque bolts.
the big one tighten with a big bar and pull it to about 120lbs ,the three smaller ones which i cannot place at the moment but if they are 17mm size heads then about 60 but i always feel them as i do them and never use a torque wrench or a air wrench ,just muscle and 40yrs of feel
The Haynes manual says for 96 - 98 to torque the head bolts to 22 ft lbs and
than the short bolts 45 degrees, medium 55 and long 65 degrees
Those bolts are "Torque To Yield" bolts. You should be using new head bolts,
tighten them to the spec listed and then rotate them the additional degrees of
rotation that is specified. This assures that the bolts are tightened to a
maximum clamp load.
