Question about 1999 Saturn SL
My son has a 95 Saturn SL1 that sometimes will not start. The starter will click, but it won't turn over. Put jumper cables to it and it starts right up every time. It may start for a few days or a few weeks, then suddenly won't start again. Go through the same process. No pattern to the problem; not related to temperature, time of year, length of time sitting, etc. He's had the battery replaced (twice), cables replaced, starter, alternator and fuses checked. The electrical system was also checked. Of course it always starts when it is at the garage. What could be causing this?
Possibly crank shaft sensor as well

This is caused by burnt starter solenoid contacts, U can either replace the starter solenoid contacts (about $15) or u can replace the entire starter.
