Where is the gas filter located in the 2007 Dodge Caliber
The fuel filter is located in the fuel tank and is part of the fuel pump module. it is a non-servicibale item
I CAN NOT FIND THE DIP STICK TO CHECK THE TRNSMISSION FLUID
It requires special equipment because its a CVT.If you dont turn wrenchs leave it alone and take it to shop. For mech now , Let car and new CVT fluid in a shop over night so fluids are same temp , Drain oil fluid in 5 gal bucket and mark , then add same amount of new fluid. Make sure both old fluid and new fluid is SAME temp!!!! U can use oil dip stick to check levels too but takes know how thatway.
You cant check fluid level without proper CAN scanner and special mopar tools but you can change it.Dont listen to oh it doesnt need serviced because they want it to break so they can sell you another CVT at 36-100k when your warranty runs out. People allow car makers to keep doing stuff to prevent anyone from servicing the vehicle but them. stand up before you aint even allowed to choose what oil or fluids to use in your own vehicles...

Should be right up under the car on the driver side it is a round thing.
This is correct. It is wk 722/1 and is in the engine area up under a cover.Dodge wants you to think its life time filter but use common sense , they make money off repairs and will tell anything. What filter has ever lasted life time. It is just a normal fuel filter once opened up too.Its out in UK but dodge wont let it out in USA.....

SOURCE: where is the crank sensor located at 2007 dodge
The crankshaft position sensor is located on the backside of the engine to the lower left of the exhaust manifold. I have included a diagram showing the location of the sensor.
Hope this helps...

It may be lose or burned out. Call the local auto-electric shops and ask what they would charge you to replace it

i have a 2007 dodge caliber and it won't start. it turns over but will not start any ideas
Fuel fitler is not located in tank, its in engine compartment under and black cover hidden because dodge says its lifetime filter.REPLACE it if you want to catch debis before entering injection system.Pump has just a mild strainer on it only and is NOT a filter.Learn facts before posting bad infomation!
Add a CommentYou should check to find out if its fuel issue or eletrical issue keeping car from starting. If you are a run tank under 1/4 type person then it maybe a fuel pump issue due to them overheating alot when not in gas to keep them cool.Running tank low or keeping it 1/4 or less often leads to fuel pump malfuctions from over heating.
when i stop at a stop light i cant be stoped for a long period of time or my car will die, would that be a vacuum leak?
