Engine light came on. Is there a procedure to reset when you change oil?

The engine light is not tied to the oil change. After 2000 Saturns had an oil change light which was reset by pressing a button in the underhood fuse panel. You have another problem, and someone with an analyzer should take a look at it.

if oil light is on, you need to change your oil. or at least the car things you need to change it according to the last time the oil light was reset. check manual on how to reset light. on 99 caravans, i belive it has to do with the radio or the clock/calander display on the roof.

Service Engine Soon light indicator always on

well the check engine light is directly intergrated to the vehicles main computer.often times when the vehicle is repaired the code that caused the light to come on needs to be reset. there are to forms of codes active, and stored. what often times happens is a stored code doesn't get reset and from time to time it will cause the light to come on. also it could be that even though you had the vehicle repaired it could be that they either did not fix the right problem or they never reset the codes. my suggestion is to take it back to the shop that repaired it and have them do it right. one other thing you should check is that all your fluid levels are as they should be. in most vehicles today low fluid levels ie coolant, oil,etc will cause the light to come on. hope this helps you...please rate this
