Rural king or other farm store sells a cheap siphon pump you might have to buy a couple of feet of extra hose so that you can reach the bottom of the tank. Should not cost more than 10 bucks or so

SOURCE: my nissan maxima stalls

Every answer here is wrong. This has been driving people nuts for 15 years. The problem is the engine wiring harness which has a bend going past the right strut tower, Nissan had a service bulletin on this in September of 1999, Google it, it's in pdf.

SOURCE: 95 Nissan Maxima with fuel injection issue.

Could be battery, starter or coolant sensor.

It is hard to understand / get across engine noises with words so difficult to diagnose over the net but try to push start the car and let me know if it starts ok with a push. Also, maybe try a jump start, preferably using a circuit protector if you have one.
Let me know results of the above.

Where can I find the gas tank hole to drain my gas out and can I PLEASE have an idea where I should be looking.

If your replacing the fuel pump, you don't need to drain it. You access the pump from under the back seat. There's no drain. Once you get the pump out, you can siphon it out. Have plenty of rags handy taking out the pump. You will spill some gas.

Where to drain the bad gas from I mixed it with diesel

There is NO drain on the tank bottom.....Disconnecting fuel line/add extension if/as needed, place hose/extension in aux fuel tank, add 'Modis',request fuel pump 'on' & drain tank.....Add fresh fuel, replace fuel filter & ad fuel injector cleaner (Preferably Lucas #10020) & PROPERLY dispose of waste fuel.

My 95 Nissan Maxima has trouble starting in cold have to press on gas to get it to start

I suspect you may not have enough fuel pressure.Fuel injection requires very high pressure to start car and by pumping the gas pedal the car is flooding itself and that let's it start.

Wont start after sitting over night when starting have to give gas than it starts 1997 nissan maxima

This problem is often caused by a defective fuel pump pressure check valve, this allows the fuel in the lines and the filter to drain back into the tank, this causes hard starting. The pressure check valve is part of the fuel pump so you must replace the fuel pump to correct the problem, the fuel p[ump is located inside the fuel tank.

1999 Nissan Maxima, after sitting for a while the engine will start and run only for 1 or 2 sec then engine stops. Try to restart but engine just cranks, will not run. thanks, Roy

you either need fuel filter replacement or fuel pump. filter should be under the passanger rear in front of rear tire on frame rail, fuel pump is in the gas tank the tank needs to be removed for replacement i would try the filter first there only about 20 or 30 dollars and pretty simple to change

Gas in tank/line - nissan maxima 98. still wont start. There are two lines. One with an arrow pointing to the engine the other I suppose is the return. I seem to only get anything from the line to te...

if you are getting water out then I would drain all the gas/water out. Water is heavier then gas, so once you drain all the gas out I would put known good gas in, you may want to change the filter. First I would get all the bad gas out and put new gas in, take some wd40 spray it in the intake and get it til it will run on it own, once this is done I then would change the filter to be on the safe side. Hope this helped tim

Drain deisel gas from fuel pump from 2007 nissan maxim

No easy way. Tank needs to be dropped, fuel disposed of properly, tank cleaned. Also recommend doing a fuel injection system cleaning. Try to find somebody who has a motorvac injector cleaner. That cleans everything the best

1998 Nissan Maxima

You may have a problem with the check valve in the fuel pump, if this valve is defective the gas drains back to the fuel tank and causes long crank times, you can test this by hooking up a fuel pressure guage at the fuel injector fuel supply line on the top of the engine, run the engine for a moment and quickly record the pressure when you shut down, that pressure reading should not drop more than 5 PSI overnight, if the check valve is bad the pressure will most likely start to drop right away, but do the over night test anyway. If this is the problem you will need to replace the fuel pump in the gas tank.
