Have a local mechanic check the main power relay. This feed power from the ignition switch out to the stated accessories

Toyota camry drove home and parked and now won't move? NO ****** ISSUES BEFORE THIS!

It will not move in Reverse either? It could be

- the shift cable has broken
- the parking lock pawl has broken
- park/neutral position switch faulty
- transmission manual valve faulty

I think one of the first 3. There isn't much you can do except have it towed to a transmission shop.

My brake lights stopped working on my 87 toyota camry.. replaced pedal switch and bulbs.. fuse is fine..

THAT WAS MY SOLUTION ALSO, A PINCHED, OR BROKEN WIRE. USE A TEST LIGHT TO SEE IF YOU HAVE POWER TO ALL WIRES LEADING TO TAILLIGHTS. L/S, R/S,TURN SIGNALS, ETC.CHECK ALL WITH TESTLIGHT.

My 87 toyota camry wont start has spark and fuel but turns over

does it have the 4 cylinder engine? if yes you could have broken timing belt witch opens and closes intake and exhaust valves. same for V6 engines.the belt must be replaced and engine crank and cam shafts retimed with new belt istallation. one to tell is when cranking the engine turns over kinda fast.

No once it breaks that is that you will need to replace the whole latch , go to a salvage yard to try and see if they have any camry's that is the same make , model and year as yours and buy it.

I have a 1987 4runner and the rear window stopped working. It used to work intermittently if I pushed on the tailgate or moved the main wiring harness going into the rear of the tailgate. Now nothing,...

I hade the same problem first pull the cover for the tailgate off and check the wiring for damage like cracked or broken wires if none than ckeck at the area where the wires bend there might be some broken wires if so ose small **** connectors to fix.

I have an auntomatic 87 camry that just had that problem. I thought it was my fuel pump but it ended up being my ignition coil. It cost a lill over 400 to fix, but I think I got a little screwed. The part is actually only a lill over one hundred dollars. Hope this helps!
