the key is bad or the lock is bad. surly.
did the metal key every work for you at the rear door?
or did previous owners change it?
as you many not know, one can have 6 different keys and locks.
on 5 doors and ignition.
usually a Prev. owner changes a bad ignition switch.
then must have 2 keys, one for Ign. and one for all other doors.
my guess is the rear lock is bad, or was rekeyed, if it newer worked for you.

Disconnect one battery cable for 5 minutes. Reconnect the cable and see if the ECM has reset. All ECMs reset after an electrical
interruption. Give it a try.

You can delete the codes by removing the battery negative terminal for 5 Sec or more. By this method you can only delete the engine and power train codes. ABS and EPS codes cannot be deleted by this method. Better to retrieve and delete the error codes with code reader or diagnostic computer. Make a note of freeze frame data before clearing the codes.

If method 2 does not work, you can try method 2 again but this time without any SIM card on your Samsung P1000.

If it is in your trash can you can hit restore file. If it was deleted from the trash can a program like tune up utilities has a restore deleted files. Some anti-virus programs have the same. Check what your anti-virus offers. Personally I love tune up utilities it takes care of a lot of maintanance. You can either choose to do it manually or set it to run at a certain time every week. Basically does everything to keep your computer running smooth. There are other programs out there that do the same but That is my personal favorite.

I had the same issue on my 2013 Edge. Deleted the password expecting it to let me enter a new one. Since the password is unique to vehicle and not able to be deleted I went into the SYNC computer settings and reset to original settings. This takes a minute. The screen goes black. Opening the door or turning key off is not suggested. Resetting the in dash computer(sync) is the fix for deleting the original door key code.
