Question about 2002 Mazda Tribute
2002 V6 Mazda Tribute with 136,000 miles -
Top speed 15-25 mph, high revving. Had the rear converter replaced, problem solved ... ... well, solved for about a month. Now the same symptoms have returned. Shop says front converter(s) need to be replaced and that they must order them from Mazda and it will be at a total cost of over $1,100 to replace.
How many converters does it have up front? Do I need to replace both? Do I replace them and then dump the vehicle ASAP?
Let the car run for about 15 min look underneath if the cat is bad its should be glownin
