Heat blowing cold air

I have plenty of coolant in both the radiator and coolant container but it's still blowing cold air. What the problem?

Can warm up the car in the morning for about20 minutes like usual. NOW it wont blow warm air on the inside even though the engine temp. is normal on the dash guage. Heater thermostate is set at 90 for the heater. AC button is off. Could a vaccuum hose be off messing with the interals of the heater?

Had the same problem on my car. The system was emptyed and vacuumed and them the right amount of pressure was added with the right amouht of liquid and the problem was fixed. My car wouldn't put out heat while sitting. But while moving, it would! But now it has been fixed.

How do I fix a car that only blows cold air

I doubt it's a heater core.
first look in the radiator and make sure your coolant is full.
not just in the overflow bottle. a bad radiator cap may not allow coolant to refill the radiator . so the radiator can be low and you still have a full overflow bottle

so refill everything and drive it a few miles and see if your heat comes back.

Why does my heater blow heat when I am running over 2k rpms?

Check the coolant level in the radiator. If the coolant gets low enough the heater is the first thing to stop working. If there is plenty of coolant and the temp gauge is get in up to the half way mark than it's possible the heater core is just about plugged up. Your local repair shop should be familiar with flushing the heater core. I have had many successful heater core flushes over the years and it can save you thousands. If the heater core is successfully flushed it may not be a bad idea to have the coolant flushed at the same time.

No heat in the car blows cold air

yep could be, but check both radiator hoses if hot to touch problem could be heater water shut off valve, problem could be in the heater ac control module or heater air door or flap door actuator could be faulty many things will cause no heat problem but check to see if thermostat okay that could be the problem also check engine coolant level make sure there plenty coolant in coolant system.

No heat only blows cold air when its on

Check your coolant to make sure that you have the right level of coolant. Next look for a valve that operates with a wire to open and close for your heater radiator. If it blows cold air you are not getting coolant from the engine to your heater radiator. Good Luck

REPLACE THERMOSTAT.MAKE SURE COOLANT SUPPLY PIPE OR COOLANT RETURN PIPE NOT STOPPED UP AND YOU HAVE ENOUGH COOLANT IN THE SYSTEM.REPLACE THERMOSTAT.CRANK ENGINE UP AND LET IDLE UNTIL WARM UP KEEP EYES ON TEMPERATURE GAUGE. WHEN ENGINE THERMOSTAT OPEN COOLANT HOSE SHOULD BE HOT.IF NOT TURN OFF ENGINE.USE LARGE RAG WAIT A WHILE BEFORE REMOVING RADIATOR CAP CHECK TO SEE IF COOLANT LEVEL DROPPING IF SO ADD MORE COOLANT.CRANK ENGINE UP UNTIL THERMOSTAT OPENS UP.HOSE WILL GET HOT.IF STILL COLD CHECK COOLANT LEVEL.ONCE YOU AIR OUT COOLANT SYSTEM RADIATOR HOSES WILL GET HOT SO YOU WILL GET HEAT.IF COOLANT LOW YOU WONT GET NO HEAT.
