I have 2010 Ford Taurus SHO seats. I believe they are 8 or 10 way memory seats. Trying to retrofit for a street rod. Have a few wiring diagrams but not enough. Can't get power to any motors yet. Numb

Problem Solved !!! I traced every wire, Bought manuals, Ended up buying a passenger seat wiring harness and removed driver memory control module plus harness. Installed new passenger harness and it works great ! You need VIN# when ordering part, Order number is slightly different then number on wire harness but when it came in numbers matched. I got a set of 1998 ford explorer front power seats for my ranger and i need the wiring diagram so that i can wire them up in my ranger

Ranger did not have power seats. You will need an empty fuse location with a 25 amp fuse. Then a power seat gang switch from the salvage yard. Then a ground circuit.

Go to faxonautoliterature.com. They list 2 different wiring diagram manuals for your car. This is original Ford dealer stuff. One is $19 and the other is $8. I've used them before and had excellent service. Hope this helps.

2001 ford expolror no power to seat

Check the connectors to the seat motor . They are usually a main attraction for corrosion. If corrosion not an issue use a voltmeter and check for B+ at this connection. If B+ is not here fabricate a set of jumper wires and jump them from battery to seat motor and see if motor works. Now jump them to seat switch.Whatever item the seat doesn't work by this jumping / bypassing procedure is your culprit. If after jumping the seats work, then go to the go to relay for B+, If not there go to fuse or power source ( use shop manual) keep me posted. Items of concern Connectors , motor, switch, relay, fuse. wiring in circuit.

Can I manually adjust the power seat on my 98 explorer? Or can I be able to fix it w/o buying new seat or motor?

Your power seat can not be adjusted manually, if the motor in the seat is bad then yes you will have to replace it. Go to the motor under the seat and unplug it, test the wiring harness end of the connection for power with a meter, while operating the seat position, if you get power then the motor is bad, if you do not then you need to check the wires and fuses that supply that power, and the switch. Hope this helps, let me know

You could try using a voltmeter or test light to confirm if power is getting to the motor.
