I had one of these do this before, the injectors had high fuel return rates when warm but was fine cold. Replaces all eight injectors all okay.

Try taking your truck to a dealership or any competent mechanic and have your injectors checked. I had that problem with mine and as soon as the injectors were replaced it fires like a champ no matter what.

Heat related issues usually
fuel blockage or electrical resistance to ignitors...run on indicates fuel issues at pressure head not shuttign off fuel.. so check there first...also many related engine management sensors are related to fuel dilvery so get code checked and computer tested/.... good luck

There's a shutter valve to restrict air flow either before or after the air filter housing. In cold winter, this valve is closed as you start up the engine. As the engine area warms up, the shutter valve opens up to allow more air to flow into the intake manifold. In close position, the restriction in air flow results in rich fuel mixture. When its open, the fuel mixture is leaner. If it were locked in open position, you crank the cold engine and you get a lean mixture instead of a rich mixture to start up in cold mornings.

Corsa dosn't start very well when warm

fuel heater fault. there is a heater in line with the with the glow plug wiring ing heats the fuel for a good fire. when engine temp get to normal it turns off. if not working the engine just floods. folloe the fuel line till it goes into the cacing and look round that area for some were coming out that will be were the heater is.

Engine turns but won't start when temperature id around freezing or below.

Possible bad cold start valve or the sensor that tells the valve to activate when cold. Start by replacing the cold start valve first.

Some vehicles don't run well with the platinum plugs. It will cause the engine to misfire and skip. I would go back with the OEM or a step above unless your car came with platinum plugs which is doubtful. The plugs may be firing off correct when cold but as the engine warms and more friction is there the plugs may be doing more bad because it's not firing correct from the plug being warm. It sounds strange but I work for BOSCH and there are alot of things that don't seem normal to someone that's not involved in making these parts and seeing the everyday test and use. Good Luck. Let me know what you find out and what works.

1987 Ford f-250 6.9 liter diesel. Glow plugs are good, Relay is new, glow plugs don't work... is there a glow plug relay controller or timer that can be replaced, and what is the part's proper name?

Check for fuses first. The Glowplug timer is the proper name for the part that responds to Temperature when starting your engine. When the engine is cold, of course it is on longer and can cycle making a click and intermittently dimming the lights on your truck. When the engine is warm, your gowplugs may not even fire as the engine is using compression alone to fire up.

Also, Ford did make a Severe Weather model that kept the glowplugs on longer. If you stay in Alaska or a climate with consistent subzero temperatures you may need it.

The coolant temp sensor may be sending poor or no signal to the ECU It should be tested and repaced if needed. good luck, Ned-
