There is another fuse box on the drivers side of the dash that can not be opened unless you open the drivers door because it is located on the end of the dash. The legend for which fuse is for what purpose is on the lid that comes off when you turn the lock mechanism counter clock wise. I found this while searching for the fuse for the 4wd

Plugged a heater/fan into cig lighter socket rather than 12v socket and cd &dvd player won't work.I know where my fuse box is but don't know which fuses I should look to replace. 2005 CRD plus Voyager

Could be more than one fuse when the lighter stops working.Under the hood remove the cover on the fuse box and with the key on check all fuses with a test light. The 2 fuses that may be blown are closer to the driver end of the fuse box,but check all.One will be blown for sure.

Where is the fuse for the light under hood and what #IS IT

The fuse is in the fuse box. The fuse box is not always under the hood. It can also be found in the passenger cabin, sometimes under the steering wheel or set into the a-pillar on the driver's side or the passenger's side.

It is usually in a closed box (for insulation purposes) - your vehicle manual will identify its location and how to open it.

The fuse box should contain a legend that identifies the location of each fuse, what it protects and the correct amp rating.

Always replace a blown fuse with one of the recommended amp rating to maintain circuit protection.

Where is radiator fan switch relay for 2005 sonata

If you go to the Under Hood Fuse/Relay box, and take the lid off, you'll see inside the lid is the legend/layout of all the relays and fuses. If you need more help, Go to and register your vehicle by VIN #.. you'll then have access to wiring diagrams, shop manuals, service bulletins, campaigns, illustrations and procedures, etc.
Here's an illustration of the Under/Hood (U/H) Fuse/Relay box

My 06 jetta keeps blowing fuse for heater and heated seats, fan motor sounds good when running

I had the same problem after a weekend trip, I found that the 50 amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood was blow, this other things that stopped working with this was the seat wouldn't adjust, the seat heater wouldn't work, and when we locked the car it wouldn't beep. When searching for the problem I found that the tube going to the window washer in the hood was broken at the hinge and while working on this the short at the fuse location went away and everything started working. I read that the problem was the heated window washer nozzles that were shorting out, if this happens again I will be unplugging them. Now that I fixed that problem the airbag light has came on and will not go off.

Blower motor to heat and defroster does not work

you may only have a blown heater blower fuse, look in the fuse box for a blown fuse.check both fuse boxes, including the black fuse box under the hood. if fuses are good, try tapping on the fan box on driverside under dash, sometimes leaves get in it and stop it up. if you don't find the fan box under passenger side dash, look under hood on passenger side on firewall. hope this helps and thank you for choosing

Where is the ac/heater fan fuse for 97 nissan pathfinder

the cooling fans on autos require a motor, a power wire , a fuse ..........and

relays. ( look under your hood for a black box with some 1 inch by 1 inch black square relays ) under the cover it will tell you what relay is for the fan.
u can take another relay out of the same relay box and test the fan circuit ( as long as the pins look the same and the relay looks the same
) and plug it in and see if that fixes the problem........if it does, go buy a new relay ( remember to put them back where you got them from)

its either a blown fuse, a bad relay, or the motor finally gave up. try the fuses and relays first

Heater quit blower not turning on

Check the fuse box in the car first then if that dont work check the fuse block under the hood also check for a bad relay. And if that dont fix it you may need a blower motor

Heater fan quit working

Horn fuse should be labeled on the fuse block. If it's not, easiest way to check is to just check them all. Use a test light and probe the back side of each fuse on both ends, till you find one that only has power on one side. Horn works with key off but I generally check with key on. Also, you have a horn relay (should be in the power distribution center (basically another larger fuse box, usually on the right fender under the hood. If all else fails, run a "hot" wire right to the horn & make sure it works. Horn "switch" is actualliy part of the signal mechanism and internal parts within the steering column...though these sometimes develop dead spots, it's least likely that it is the source of your problem.

yes there is a fuse
what kind of nest? did something chew through a wire?
could be under dash or the fuse box under the hood if you still have it check the owners manual in the glove box dont jump steps and just replace the fan could be fruitless
