My 1994 Mazda Miata sat in my garage for three weeks... when I went to start it - the key went in the ignition easily, but it will not turn... at all. The ignition mechanism seems to be frozen (I live in FL - it is not freezing)... It seemed fine the last time I drove it.//
A buddy of mine told me when my door locks were not turning smoothly just to get a can of wd-40 and spray it in all the locks that are getting hard to turn because overtime the grease inside sorta turns to glue if that doesnt work you may need a new ignition. contact a locksmith

one thing you can try is starting it when cold and while it is skipping..shut it off and remove the spark plugs and see if they are wet with antifreeze,i have seen this on a few vehicles and is a hard problem to catch,if there is antifreeze on the plug u might have a small internal head gasket leak, hope this helps
you have to reset your computer..it is kind of tricky..you have to pump the gas pedal three times on the third time hold it to the floor turn the ignition to on position then off then start the car it should reset it..
Have you checked that you have power to the coil on cranking? You may also want to check wether you have a good strong spark at the spark plug.It could be an ignition module breaking down.If you have no power to the coil you may need to change the ignition relay. Its close to the battery.
