It is not different than any other car, except mabey the weight of the oil. You drain the oil from oil pan drain plug, remove the oil filter, let it all drain out and fill it back up with fresh oil and a new filter when done.

You mean the rear end? 90 weight gear oil. Regular or Synthetic. Considering the year of the truck, regular will out last the truck. Most people never change gear oil. Hope this is what you are talking about.

Yes.. Normal running temp should be around 210 to 220.. So I do not think you have much to be concerned about..

Hi, I need to know what type of engine oil to use on my 1995 Aerostar 3.0L engine with 230,000 kilometers.


best to use fully synthetic oil, it stays thick at high temp, , as older engines tend to be a little hotter, this would be the best option....i find castrol magnatec to be one of the best

no, but with a older vehicle like this, it does not hurt to use a thicker oil grade like 10w30. i would also use this oil stabilizer called Lucas engine oil treatment once a year. it goes in like molasses and from experience, it cures the light engine knock.
