Thanks I replace the signal switch and it would work off and on I pulled the relay fuse under the dash and went into get a new one but they didn't have that kind, only a single pole. however when I put the fuse back in the signal worked until i shut the trunk lid then it wouldn't work. i again wiggled the fuse around and it worked again. So for sure it is the fuse under the dash is just lose. thanks a bunch

Signal switch assembly. you have to buy the arm from the dealer only. the switch is bad inside the arm.

No brake lights

This may sound confusing, so here goes.
Normally I would say check the turn signal switch because for decades the brake light switch power went thru the turn signal switch.
But in your case, its more complicated.
The wiring diagram looks like you have a wire from the brake switch and another from the turn signal that joins inside the right and left rear tail lamp assembly. There are also fuses in the rear fuse box including one for just the brake lights. So its possible that fuse is dead and yet the turn signals would work.
You may have to get a book with the wiring diagrams to trace the circuits.

2005 Pontiac Grand Prix front left turn signal went out, I replaced the bulb and the light comes on but the turn signal still doesn't work. If I have the lights sent on automatic the right parking

Hey I literally just today had the same problem, put a new bulb in the light was on but did not blink!!!! SUPER EASY SOLUTION, you simply have the bulb in too far. I gently pulled mine out a tiny bit and it started working fine... guarantee that's all that's happening to you!!!

Bad or borken wire harness in the steering coloum. check power to brake switch, should have power on one side, if not check the fuse if fuse is good and you have no power then your turn signal switch or harness is bad.

CHECK ALL BULBS, SOME HAVE A SLIGHT DARK SPOT ON THE BULB AND IS BAD AND FLASHER COULD ALSO BE BAD. CHECK THE FUSES TOO.

2001 Explorer Sport ,Rear Driver Brake Light and Turn Sig. Broke

Rear lights are double filament bulbs one side for the lights other side for the brake/turn signals so it still may be a bulb. Do u have a test light or volt meter you can check to make sure u have power there when brakes or turn signals are activated. Or just try another bulb.

First check the fuse, then the flasher. If it still doesn’t work you will check the relay. Finely and more difficult is the turn signal switch. This involves removing the steering wheel.
