1989 corolla 4af carburetor engine leaking fuel on the manifold and is having a rough idle. What could be the problem?

try to tighten the fuel line that goes into the Carb. idle could be a vacuum leak or the loss of fuel pressure do to the fuel leak.

Toyota Corolla 1.6 GL 16V 4AF motor 1989 model. The steering is very heavy (stiff). A new genuine part rack and pinion was fitted 7 years ago. Nobody knows how to adjust it.

This is not an adjustment issue, most likely the power steering pump of the rack is defective.

Carburator pipes

As I know there is a vacume pipe from engine to carburetor, this vacume pipe is installed on top of engine cover to under carburetor (between carburetor and the inteke manifold).
