There is a start and run side to the ing modugle which is controled by the pick up coil in the dist i have seen this before. do you have fuel take a can off carb clean and the next time this happens spray a little carb clean in the inlet snorkle of the air filter housing, the fuel pump eneratia switch giving problems.

No gas or spark

Try your inertia switch in the cargo area in back. Its located on the passenger side rear wheel well. Push the button.

My 95 Ford Escort wont start, changed ignition module, ignition coil pack, crankshaft position sensor...if I change the computer will it have to be reprogrammed ? Trying to figure this out ran beautiful as...

I would listen for the fuel pump(take the gas cap off and listen for the buzz when someone turns the key on), if no buzz or whine then have them crank the engine. If still no noise then take a hammer and hit the middle of the gas tank while the car is being started(make sure E-brake is applied)If it starts it's your fuel pump.

Has power but wont start, has full tank of gas

Its not common but you may have water in your gas. You will need to check engine for both fuel and spark. If the car will start then die off a short squirt of ether then it would be a fuel problem. Then you'll need to find out if it to do with the fuel or the fuel system.

First check to see if you are getting fuel.If no fuel in the carburator the replace fuel filter. If still no fuel replace the fuel pump. You can put a little bit of gas, about a table spoon fuel in the carb.if it runs then replace the fore mentioned.
