i kind of dought there would be 1 fuse for one mirror if anything there be 1fuse for both mirrors. chances are what happend is this, they work like your rear window defroster on the rear window you see little wires that run across the window, same with mirror, the wire that heats them little wires most likely broke.

SOURCE: How to replace a 2007 Yukon side mirror (OEM# 25831236)

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

Fix 2002 buick rendezvous side view mirror

it sounds like the mounting bolts embedded in the mirros housing were pulled out somewhat. You will not know untill the mirror is removed. If the studs that hold this mirror housing to the door are pulled out take a heat gun to get the studs warm and twist them back in flush. them apply JB Weld to the studs lowest part to the mirror housing so they stay secured

Can you add heated mirrors to a 2002 F250 that just has remote mirrors now

yes there is a kit you can get from ford to replace your factory mirrors and the wiring is fairly simple.just ask for the kit the next model above your current truck with the options you are looking for and if the dealership doesn't offer it try going to an aftermarket supplier and ask for the heated power mirror kit and they can usually get a plug and play kit.

DOUBLE IMAGE IN DRIVERS SIDE MIRROR

I hate to say it, but it's likely your mirror has sprung a leak. I have the same problem. Look around the bottom edge of the mirror for leaking oil. The mirrors have a self dimming feature that requires them to have an oil inside them. When they start to leak, you see the normal image and the self dimmed image - two images.

I have not found a cheap fix yet. the mirror costs a few hundred.

Can I repair the side mirrors on my 2001 yukon? Both the signal indicators have fallen down.

Get a tube of Goop brand adhesive. It's in a purple colored tube and reminds me of a cross between model airplane glue and silicone. put a little on it and tape it up for a couple hours. OR... put the light back in and use your soldiering gun to melt the parts together in a hidden area.

Have to buy a new mirror or:

I was able to avoid buying a new mirror, but my mirror also became so foggy that it was unusable. This correction will not allow the Auto Dimm feature to work!!!!!!! But at least the mirror will function as a mirror. This took me about an 1 1/2 hours (glue needs to dry).

1) Take the mirror off the windshield
metal lever held mine in place
mirror then slides off
disconnect wires

2) Pull the mirror apart
it's glued together
Don't brake the plastic

3) Seperate front glass from the auto dim element
a clear front glass is sandwiched to the
element with a series (or piano style)
of metal clamps
the element is a reflective surface
the clear glass may brake, this is OK
it will not be reused, Be Careful Not
To Cut Yourself
Don't damage the reflective element, though

4) Clean the surface of the element
Be Careful Here, the element scratches
more easily than the glass surface would
have

5) Disconnect the 2 wire connector connected
to the element circuit
this is just a safety step to prevent the
element from trying to work and possibly
heating up

6) Put everything back together
glue the mirror back together
reconnect the mirror wiring if you
need to (my mirror had the compass
that needs power)
put it back on the windshield

I performed this repair about 6 months ago and have not had any problems. The element is the reflective surface that the mirror already used, so it reflects as it should. The auto dim feature, as stated before, does not work, but I didn't have to pay a couple hundred bucks for a new mirror or a used one that would eventually do the same thing. Their is a gap from the plastic edge of the mirror to the element the width of the clear glass that was removed. It is not noticeable to anyone but you.
