Transmission whan i start my car it starts makeing a funny crying noise and it wont move when i put it into gear my name is darrin can you tell me whats going on

I own a 93 Concorde Myself. It has 147,000 miles on it. I bought it in 2004

with 116,000 miles on it. I started to notice a whining or a slight grinding in

the Passenger side front end after about 2 months of daily driving. Then the car got really crazy on me. The starter would start clicking and would start

after about 30 Clicks, The Battery drained out and I replaced it, My fuel gauge stopped working(Still cant find problem-Not the ground).Recently, My ABS light came on and the popping noise got really loud on the passenger side front. 2 Mornings ago, I started it up, Put it in reverse and BANG! The Entire CV(Bearing and all)come flying off the car and now Im stuck with no car.New parts will cost me upwards of $ 600.00 plus labor.

Let me tell you that these are 15 Year old Chryslers, They are good cars

for the most part and are pretty reliable, However, To spare your wallet or

purse, Your better off buying Parts at a Salvage Yard and putting them on yourself(If you can)You can buy a Haynes Concorde Manual at any Parts

store for about $14. I have driven this car on LD trips through 3 or 4 states

with no problems. It seems that the Issues are intermittent. The problems are just the cars way of telling you that the scheduled services that were

supposed to have been done were not and now its payback to the driver

whether you are the original owner or bought someones lemon. Preventive

Maintenance is crucial to the life and performance of the Car in and out

    of Warranty. David Y Minnesota

Picasso 2005 axsara doesn't want to start and when I switch a key it makes funny noise instead of starting. And odometer doesn't show any indication its blank? What could be a problem?

You need to elaborate what "funny noise" your car is giving you. Does it try to tell you something ?
When does the "funny noise" appear? When you twist the starting key? If so, I guess it is the starter motor. The relay does not actuate and connect the gears on the starter motor to the gears on the flywheel.
If your battery is empty, you will hear just a short "knocking" from the relay on the starter motor.

When I shift gears it makes a funny noise and wont move

Sounds like a new transmission is needed, I assume this is an automatic.

I have a 2010 nissan maxima .that starts bit won't shift in gear, makes a humming noise too

Hi! I am going to assume the engine runs ok and the shifter moves ok. If its a automatic transmission and it makes noise but wont move in gear the transmission fluid level may be low.Check that first

Four wheel drive not working on a 1990 chev 1500 pickup with manual tranmission?

Yep! it does sound as if you've lost the proper connection between your engine flywheel and the transmission clutch-plate. That baby is crying for your TLC after being such a faithful trooper all these years.

I have a 92 Honda Accord and the transmission slips out of gear when it downshifts from 4th to 3rd. I step on the gas and the rpm's go up but the car does not move, like it is in neutral. I turn the car...

Sounds like transmission is screwed. Worn sun gears due to lack of proper care in the transmissions earlier days. Must have run dry & lost teeth on gears. New car time.... Cheaper for a used transmission to be put in then have the current one fixed.

1990 Ford Thunderbird won't start

I take it as the car starts but it won't function well in drive and disables you from operating it.

Check the drive shaft as well as your torque converter and universal joints for alignment before you assume it's the transmission.

See from the torque { turning } of the parts to get the gearing to move the car. Any one of those could make horrible noises if they're not in proper alignment.

They work in close / direct conjunction with your cars transmission that all play vital and parts in allowing you to put it in gear to drive it.
