1990 f250 5.0 has hot battery but no power anywhere.i checked fused links at solenoid with a meter and they were good.need ideas

First you need to make sure you have a good ground. Secondly, you should get a a test light to check for power. A meter works good for checking power, but you must keep in mind that a digital meter will not load the circuit. You could have only one strand of a cable good and the digital meter will show it good, but the circuit could not support lighting a light bulb.
I would connect some jumper cables to eliminate your battery as being bad. You could have the majority of your battery cell surface area bad and the meter could still show it good, where it would not have enough power to light up a bulb.
Start with the basics and never assume anything. Hope this helps.

Replaced altenator & battery wont hold a

You either have a short or a power drain. You may have a defective mercury switch in the trunk which is leaving the light on. This would drain the battery in a few hours. Also check the switch under the hood. The easy way to check this is to unscrew the bulbs & see if that solves the problem. Good luck!
