When tring to get up to speed when i was getting on the high way, my 2000 Kia Sephia started to vibrate and the check engine light came on. It happened to me again when i was coming up a steep road, only it started losing power.

- ive heard that it might be the fuel filter. have you tried that?

- no power when giving it gas,idles fine but engine light is on and blinks when engine is pushed(accelerating) replaced coil packs,plugs,mass air flow sensor and reset computer still doing this had computer read and said #3 misfire and mass air flow sensor etc replaced and still no good.

it is the catalytic converter my answwer is 100 percent sure the catalytic converter gets clogged and does all of those also i have 1 same thing trust me

hello spark plus wires is a big issue when this happens might only be one but change the whole set this has happened to me on 3 Kia cars now they just don't put great spark plug wires on them from the factory hope this helps
