my 91 mr2 does not go into gear. but if the cars off it goes in fine. do u know what the probelm is?

You either have a bad clutch, or bad clutch hydraulics.

Just a thought
We had problem with gear being difficult to select.
Found that one of the gearbox to engine bolts was loose.
Difficult to get to them but when tightened the gears select ok.

either the clutch has gone or the cable has snapped both are very expensive to fix. if you have a good pedal then it is most likely the clutch.
