There has been a problem for the egr on these for a long time. at honda the warranty has been extended on this problem if I am correct you will need a new egr and the egr port on the plenum drilled out and a new stainless steel tube installed. honda sells the kit for this but however does not supply the special drill bit

Car radio decoding

This sound silly, but look in the glovebox for a sticker with the code on it. Or in the manuals that came with the vehicle. It's a 5 digit number usually.

I have honda odassy 2001 having engine and TCL light on, been dignosed by michenic by 1401 code and clean EGR valve too, still engine and TCL light is on. what to do ?

TRY CLEANING EGR INTAKE OR EXHAUST MANIFOLD PASSAGES.BECAUSE PASSAGES IS RESTRICTED WITH CARBON BUILD UP.IF PASSAGES NOT RESTRICTED.PROBLEM COULD BE WIRING OR ELECTRICAL OR VACUUM NOT GETTING TO EGR VALVE.OR THE PCM IS FAULTY.
