The power steering of Elantra 2007

ELANTRA(XD) > 2001 > TCS > TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM
C1611 EMS Time-out failure
C1617 EMS Invalid Engine Speed
ELANTRA(HD) > 2007 > ESC > ABS/ESC > C1611 CAN time-out EMS

Installed new power steering pump on 2003 Hyundai Elantra still noise. How do you bleed the system?

Best way i found is to make sure the resavor is full, and start car and turn wheel back and forth lock to lock untill all the air is out of the system or when the noise goes away. Now if there isent a bleeder hole on resavor cap you may have to leave it loose so the air has a place to excape. Be patent it might take a while.

Hi, I had the same problem with my '01 Elantra 2.0L It turned out to be a problem with the input/output speed sensors on the auto gearbox. From memory it cost me about $300 to get it repaired. No problems since.
