Question about 1993 Ford Festiva

Ford Fiesta Indicator Lights won't turn off

The Indicator light on my 1996 Ford Fiesta won't turn off even when the ignition has been turned off. This then drains the battery. Is this a fuse issue or an electronic fault.

It is most likely a short in the wire to ground. What you can do is have the trouble codes run with a diagnostic tester or ground the test lead and read the trouble codes from the check engine light flashes. The trouble codes will tell you if there are and electronic or computer faults. If not, then its just a wiring issue.

Someone will need to figure out if you are lacking fuel to the injectors, spark to the plugs, or if you have a mechanical problem with the engine such as a faulty timing belt.

Ford e250 brake lights stay on

If the lights only stay on when key is in ignition, your central brake lights (or one of the lights) are out. The other lights stay on as a warning that the centrals(or other brake light/s) are needing replaced.

I havea 1995 Ford Fiesta and the indictor lamps(front and rear) only work on the right hand side, if you try to indicator to turn left you just get a ticking from behind the instrument panel and neither...

Try the hazard lights to check if all four lights flash, if not then check the bulbs. If the bulbs are ok check the contacts and the connections. if all all these are ok the problem could be the indicator switch. The flasher unit is fitted in the circuit before the indicator switch, that is why it operated although the lights might not.
