Question about 1994 Toyota Land Cruiser
I have 2004 RV 4.2 li factory turbo 78 series troopy, 90,00km. It has been sittind idle for 4kws, fitted a ERPS then took it for a 45 minute run, no problems. Stopped for 1/2 hr.Then would not start. Turns over ok.Diesel to fuel pump ok, not coming out injectors.Fuel tank 1/2 full. I have been told it has a cut off solenoid but cannot find it. I have tested engine speed sensor, spill control valve and timing control valve on injector pump, all appear ok.Tested fuses also ok. Any ideas please?
The problem was a electronic box which controls the multi valve system on the fuel pump not the ERPS. The box had lost it's earth contact. These motors don't have a cut off solenoid like older diesels, a lot of trial and error to find.
