1st check the easy things, that would be the brake fluid level. If it's low, the light will go on. Next check the emergency brake, if it's on slightly, the light can come on. Your fluid should be changed when u have a brake job done, the light wouldn't be on for that, only if there is a problem w/ the system. Check this out asap, as it can be unsafe to drive. If adding fluid to the proper level results in the light going out, make sure to check the level daily to make sure u don't have a leak in the system (and u can look under the car for signs of a leak-drips stains puddles). As your brakes wear down, it is normal to have to add fluid, but only a small amount maybe a couple of times between brake jobs. If u have the brakes done in the future, have them flush out the brake system. This is overlooked most of the time, and can result in problems down the road w/ corrosion of calipers and brake cylinders, which lead to premature wear on the brake pads and shoes. Let me know how u make out.

I just re-read your question, and although u shouldn't need to change the brake fluid at this time, here's the procedure.
The car must be jacked up and put on safety stands if u want to bleed the brakes from underneath, be Careful!. An alternative would be taking the wheel off to access the bleeder screw from the wheel well. It may be possible to bleed the front wheels with the tires turned out all the way, as the bleeders are on the behind the wheel. Connect a clear plastic hose to the bleeder valve, putting the other end in a clean, clear plastic bottle, w/ clean bake fluid -enough to cover the end of the hose. starting at the wheel the greatest distance from the master cylinder (where u add fluid). Have a helper push down on the brake pedal (car running) while u open the bleeder valve, when fluid slows coming out, close bleeder before helper lets off brake pedal. Repeat this process until the fluid flows clear, frequently checking the level of the master cylinder. U can't let it go too low, or u will draw in air, and have to start over to remove the air from the system. Repeat this on the wheel that's 2nd greatest distance from master cyl. and continue to wheel closest. Moisture is a big contaminent to brake fluid, make sure u close the fluid cap tightly after adding, as the fluid absorbs water.

May not be a light, may be a sensor or a blown bulb, not fuse. Pull cover off fuse panel. Panel should tell you fuse location. cehck owners manual if you have one or go to autozone.com and register with them. You can download info to help you out with problem.

After driving for around 30 minutes, the brake

That sounds like the "Porportioning valve" is defective.
You may want to go to your local library and check out a Chilton's, or some other repair manual for the "how to" to fix yourself or take it to a tech you can trust.

Brake lights dont work

On some cars the bulb for the brake lights is separate than the tail lights. If not then check the fuse for the brake lights. It is typically separate from the tail lights. Also check for broken wires in the trunk area. These could be damaged from items in the trunk moving around.

Hundai Accent 1999, back lights ( brake) - they light constantly

Your vehicle's brake lamp switch is located on top of the brake pedal arm bracket. Most brake lamp switches can be adjusted if they cause the lamps to stay on, however sometimes a replacement of the switch is the only solution.

Tatter Todd quickly came to the rescue. I followed his guidance of shifting through all gears, circulating and spreading the tranny fluid, being patient, and it worked. I ended up having to add more fluid which fixed the problem.
