I have just got the wrong side mirror which is a w reg for my y reg peugeot, i've managed to swap the electrical plugs over but the whole mirror will not stay on the car because the screws are too short. are the w reg screws longer or is there anything missing that the mirror needs to fit it onto my y reg car??
How short are they check using your old mirror all you may need to do is get longer screws

cant honestly say i have fitted one on this model,but is it full auto or is their an adjuster on the back of the clutch pedal.??? look first.Ford escort one is a bit of a pig but easy when you have the knack same as a golf easy when you know how .Now golf cable comes with two plastic ties that hold auto adjuster together and you dont relaese them till the cable is fitted.Can you describe the set up then i might be able to help some more.American web site so a lot of models not listed here and the lingo take a bit as well ,i mean whos ever heard of pigs tails or fire wires.Well what else can you expect when they are not taught the queens english and dont drink tea, just waste it by throwing it in the sea.

The cigarette lighter is connected to a harness that's being the unit. You need to most likely remove the panel that the cigarette lighter is attached to in order to remove the lighter unit out. Once the unit is out, disconnect the wiring harness to exchange it. I don't know how exactly your lighter will come out

you must change the upper and lower fly-weel bolberings and check the belt tensity frome the point of limp or tense.
