A plug & associated block heater was an option. You may or may not have one. If yours has one it will be on driver's side front corner.

Toyota lucida hard to start most times. occasionaly ok. 2.2 diesel. everything seems to work as should

in cold weather diesel gels up and sometimes causes a no start issue..a cetane fuel additive helps with this issue. if temps go below 20 degrees, add a quart per tankful of cetane to the fuel to help start on cold mornings. also diesels require more amperage to crank than gas engines do..thus a stronger battery is needed..

2001 temp gage f250 turbo Deisel does not work replaced senser still dosnt work 2 wire rectangle plug . does peg hot when termanals at plug are shorted

It sounds to me like the gauge is working correctly. You probably have an engine that is running cold. I think I would try replacing the thermostat. Also make sure your coolant level is correct. The gauge will not work correctly if it is low.

Through the wheel well. Turn the wheel in the direction that allows you to reach in to get the plugs

Replace the temp control on this car, it should be electrical control not cables.

Heater blows cold air in my escort van

I take it the water level in the expansion tank is ok. You could have a blocked core in the heater. Also the heater could be leaking. You could try flushing the cooling system and checking for leaks and blockages.
