Question about 2002 Pontiac Grand Am
I ran out of gas then put more in, but it still wont start
You need to prime the fuel injectors. When you run a fuel injected engine out of gas it will get air in the lines. you need to bleed the air out of the lines. There might be something in your owners manual on what to do if you run out of gas. I had a 94 grand am and the fuel rail had what looked to be a valve stem on it. I turned the key to the on position pushed the center of the valve until fuel came out of it...stay out of the way the fuel is under pressure. The newer cars may have another way of doing this, check your manual.
