Question about 2000 Volvo S80
I am looking to buy the above car. It would be from a private seller. I am going to have it looked at. It did one thing that concerned me and I am impatient. While turning around in it, it turned off. The guy selling it had to put it in neutral and restart it. He said it happened once before the last weak. He said it had something to do with the remote starter. What do you guys think? Jennifer
Once the car is running and moving, the remote starter system is basically not an issue at this point. If there was a problem where immediatley when you put it into drive the car shut off, or something of those lines, i could see a remote start possibly being a cause. But if you were driving it, and went to turn around, and the car quit, i would not be suspecting a remote start system to be the cause.
