While driving down the highway my dash lights started fading out. When I hit a bump they would go bright, but imediately start fading back out.

I took it to Ford and they did a diagnostic, but were unable to reproduce the problem. The charging system is good, and it is now documented.

When I had to go over speed bumps, I lost all my dash lights. I notice when I step on the brack, they all come back. Take my foot off the brake, and they go off again.

Take it to auto parts store have them check your battery connections also have them do a test to see if the battery voltage is ok or being loaded down.

What is causing my 4wd to engage on its own when im going down the highway and how do i fix it

Sounds like you may have bumped something inside your 4wd relay setting or shifted the 4wd assembly. Either way it sounds like a trip to the transmission mechanic

Does not want to start unless i twist battery cables when it does start it is fine but after a while d gauges start going up and down. at one point of time the ac when completely out but can back on...

Hi, twisting the cables should not matter unless one of them is bad or not connected well. Inspect the cables for weak points and clean and tighten them at both ends. If this doesn't not solve the problem, please get back to me.

Interior lights are not turning off or are turning back on, running the battery down. When driving, locking the doors does not work, they are imediately unlocked.

I have this same problem. Mine started after my husband hit deer in my car and the door had to be replaced. I cant get it to stop.

I have a 04 Toyota Tacoma. I have short in the dimmer switch.

It cold just be a fuse that is loose in the fuse box causing the dash lights to come on and off. Or potentially a loose wire from the fuse box the dash lights.

Yoy can jump the truck off, but wile you are

It is probably a loose ground wire. If it only does it while hitting bump, then there is a loose wire somewhere. It may be loose fuse but probably loose wire or solder joint going to dash control board

Flickering dash and radio lights?

loose connection.... i'd start with the alternator to make sure all the wires are secure... then the main connection to the fuse box in the engine compartment near the battery

91 Dodge ram 50 ignition problem, rough idle in drive, dies when braking

my ram 50 starts just like any other vehicle, (no light switch pulling whatso ever), it sounds like somebody haas rewired something wrong or you have a loose connection and when you hit a large enough bump it cuts your power. Start it up and find a speed bump somewhere and drive over it enough to give your truck a jolt and see if it dies.
