The owners manual recommends you drive (approximately) 10 miles above 45 or 50 miles per hour to reset the sensors. It's in the book, I experienced this and had to look it up. I'm going off memory, you may want to look up the specifics.

Then the correct pressure is 35 psi when the tire is cold.  scan obd and determine which presure transponder defective and replace with new or used one. Could have been damaged when tires were changed, they are very vulnerable during tire removal and install precedures.
You must drive vehicle more than 5 miles per hour to reset light if light does not go out then check pressure again. then think about replacement of defective or damaged part. defect rare
Also check air presure in spare tire!

How can I reset Tire press lite on my 2013 Sonata

The pressure indicator will go out when the tire pressure is up to what it should be. This means that if your tire was filled to 36psi and it should be 38psi, since it's close indicator will go out. Remember that heat expands and cold contracts. When it started to get cold the pressure dropped inside your tire to the point where it set off the indicator. Look at the side wall of your tire just above the rim. You will see writing there that will tell you what the maximum air pressure should be for your tire. You will be safe filling the tire to within 2psi of maximum pressure. If you continue to experience indicator light on, this will mean a leak in your tire, possibly due to a puncture in thread, or a leak between tire and wheel. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

At what tire pressure is the tire pressure warning indicator activated

The LOW TIRE PRESSURE warning light will come on when the pressure is 25% below the manufacturer's recommended pressure. If I recall correctly, the 2007 Sonata has a manufacturer's recommended tire pressure of 30 psi. There is a tire label (sticker) on the inside driver's door jamb ('B' Pillar which tells you what the manufacturer's recommend tire inflation pressure should be. Once you have that value, you can calculate 25% of that & find the pressure at which the warning light should come on. NOTE: The TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) does not continually nor constantly scan the sensors in the wheels for this information - once every 3 to 10 minutes.

Had a flat, put spare on,tire light on dash is still on,Is this because the spare is not a full size tire?

Hi,If your Hyundia is at least a 2007 or above it most likely has a TPMS(Tire Pressure Monitoring System) and a low tire lite on the dash. The spare tires don't have a TPMS sensor in them. Have your original tire repaired of the flat, when you put the stock wheel and tire back on the car at a proper inflation of at least 32-35psi, the low tire pressure lite should go out soon after.

Tire pressure indicator light stays on. Tire pressure is correct.

You might have a faulty tire pressure monitor in one of your tires. A reputable repair facility can replace it for the cost of mounting and balancing a tire, plus the cost of the monitor.

there are several things, tire balance, tire pressure and alignment, check and make sure your tire pressure is correct, have the tires balanced, and get a front end alignment, this should resolve your issue, Good Luck!

Tire pressure

Seance the car manufactures most likely did not produce the tires that are on the vehicle they will only give there recommendations as to the correct tire pressure. Always look around the perimeter of the tire and it will tell you the proper pressure for that tire. hope this helps. Good luck.
